Have an opinion on a piece of legislature? Contact your representative and let him or her know about it. When councilmen, chairmen, representatives, senators and governors hear from the general public, it makes a great impression on them. They have lobbyists in their offices every day trying to persuade them to vote on something that will benefit their group or business. We need to counteract that with guiding them to represent the people, like they should be doing.
